Heat (1995) is undoubtedly one of my favorite films of all time. A movie which brings together such a legendary set of actors HAD to be good, yet what we got was a true masterpiece. Director Michael Mann and cinematographer Dante Spinotti collaborated masterfully to blend gripping action with intimate character relationships, presented through a number of subtle yet memorable exchanges such as this one. With a surprising sequel in production now, what are your thoughts? Could Heat 2 possibly live up to the original?
