My secret ingredient? A little bit of history… ✨
In 1947, my great-grandfather opened the doors to his little bakery, filling our town with the scent of fresh baked goods and the kind of warmth only homemade baking can bring. 🥖🍪
But what made his bakery truly special?
His famous fruitcakes—so beloved that they were shipped all over the country. 🥮
Each one made by hand, wrapped with care, and sent out to bring a taste of home to people near and far. 🤎
And now, all these years later, I’m bringing that same heart back to our community with Miss Ellie Bakehouse. ✨🤎
Because I believe that baked goods aren’t just food—they’re a way to connect, to comfort, and to bring a little more kindness into the world. And that’s exactly what I hope to do, one bake at a time.

🏡 Soon, I’ll be setting up a microbakery stand for local pickups, so if you’re local you can bring a little of that homemade warmth to your own table.

THWhat an incredible first summer. And now after much soul searching, I've decided to close the Farmstand for the season ✨
I toyed with running it longer. We tried taking pre-orders. I contemplated once the weather changed to just doing pre-orders. I started making more to meet the demand. And it also started to take up 200% more of my time than when I first started it.
After this week it was made very clear to me - I don't want to do pre-orders. I want it to be a Farmstand. Where people come and grab goodies. And there's no pressure to make more or less than I want.
This has become a *wildly* successful venture. And I am *deeply* grateful. I also know that I need to focus on why I started it in the first place and what I want it to be. Joy. Community. Whimsy.
Thanksgiving pre-orders will be the last day for the Farmstand and then it will close for the season and reopen in the spring.
Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for loving on this little project ❤️

AFOVEN BAKED OATS - CHOCO🍫
Yooo les potos! C’est reparti pour les meal-prep qui font plaisir avec ce porridge au four au chocolat!
A la fois gourmand et équilibré, il vous calera pour la matinée. Perso je le prépare la veille et je le réchauffe au micro-ondes avant de déguster (pour que le chocolat soit bien fondant héhéhé)😌
Ingrédients (pour 2 portions) :
- 90 gr de flocons d’avoine fins
- 1 oeuf
- 100 gr compote de pommes (ou une banane)
- 110 gr de lait
- 1 petite cac levure chimique
- 2 à 3 cas de sirop d’agave
- 1 cas de cacao
- 20 gr de pépites de chocolat
Mélangez les flocons d’avoine avec l’oeuf. Ajoutez la compote de pommes (ou la banane écrasée)
Ainsi que le lait, le sirop d’agave, le cacao et la levure chimique.
Ajoutez enfin les pépites de chocolat puis disposez dans un plat et enfournez pendant 20 minutes à 180 degrés.🥰

I’m Brianna, but my friends call me Bri :)
A few things about me + this sweet lil hobby turned microbakery.
🤍 I mixed some flour and water together over 3 years ago and never looked back😉 My first loaf was BAD.
🤍 This little bakery started as a literal google doc ordering form, and it’s grown into something so sweet!
🤍 I love Jesus, and our church family is truly our village.
🤍 My husband and I met while @cedarville, got married during Covid (🫠), and have a spunky little 2-year-old :)
🤍 I LOVE Disney and truly cannot stop smiling when I am anywhere near the parks.
🤍 Ice cream is my actual weakness, and our freezer is stocked at all times with @haagendazs_us or @graeters
🤍 I take my coffee plain with a splash of cream (or get a latte if I’m feeling fancy)
🤍 I’m a fitness instructor with @refitrev and love being active!
