DRSkincare Topic: Battle of the Home Microcurrent Facial Devices
💎If you have been following me for awhile, you know that microcurrent device is the cornerstone of my holistic skincare routine. I think of my skincare as nutrition while microcurrent serves as my exercise routine for the face. Just as exercise sculpts and tones the body, microcurrent contours and tones the face. And like exercise, consistency is key.
💎I've owned my NuFace Trinity for years and FOREO came out with their own microcurrent device called the BEAR.

⚖️Similarities vs. Differences:
- Benefits: both offer short term "face-lift"
- Routine: basically same routine although BEAR's is a lot shorter— check out my nuface tutorial for “how-to routine.” Bear is app driven guided work out, but you do not have to use the app.
- Price: BEAR $299; NUFACE $350
- Durability: able to rinse my FOREO Bear under water and not worry about it breaking. Water-resistant. I've been very lucky with my NuFace but I know a lot of you have been complaining your device just stopped working. ( 2year warranty vs. 1 year warranty) --> FOREO's customer service is super easy to get hold of.
- Ergonomics: the silicon rubber of the Bear helps you grip the device despite gel/serum whereas the Nuface can get slippery with any residue on your hands. Bear is Stronger, faster, and has anti-shock technology. T-sonic pulsation is an extra bonus to help w puffiness.
- Primer: Nuface primer gel is more like a ultrasound gel that needs to be washed off. Serum serum serum is like a hyaluronic acid serum that can be left on.
- Charges: One charge lasts 90 uses for the Bear. Nuface meant to live on charging cradle when not in use.
