Check out this beautiful hybrid ceramic module! - I recently took a look at the Hybrid ceramic modules from inside an HP83000 IC test system out of one of the I/O boards. There are lots of interesting integrated circuits on these modules. There is a common collector stage there as well! But with some patience you can easily understand the role of each component present. Let's see the real circuit 👇🏻 Last reel shown how the change of the bias point of an amplifier leads to a change of operation class, from the linear class A down to class C. How to obtain the same effect with a simple circuit? 🤔 Using a BJT, it is possible to set up a voltage divider at the input which, by varying the trimmer resistance, can modify the bias point, i.e., the quiescent DC voltage at the input. By lowering this value, it is possible to decrease the conduction angle of the amplifier. Have a question?
