Looking for an easy peasy mithai recipe for this Diwali season? You need to try this easiest no cook mithai, just need 20 minutes to make!!🙈
Ingredients used are-
Milk powder- 1.5 cups
Desiccated coconut powder- 1/2 cup
Sugar powder- 1/2 cup
Add around 1/4 cup milk and mix well to form a dough
Divide the dough into 2 parts
Dry fruits of your choice
Butter paper or parchment paper
Desi ghe
Chandi ka warq (silver work) optional
Keep the mithai in refrigerator for around 15-20 mins before cutting it down into slices!

No more dry sandwiches at your party which is sitting for long. The edges in this sandwich cake is covered, keeping it moist and nice.
Sandwich cake - let’s not forget how gorgeous this looks and is the star of any party for sure 👌
Recipe for Sandwich Cake (Serves 6-9)
12 slices of bread- slice the edges off.
For the coleslaw:
1 cup or 1/4 of a cabbage chopped
1 large carrot; finely grated or chopped.
1/2 capsicum; finely chopped.
1/4 cup coriander chopped
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp powdered sugar optional
Salt
Pepper
Mix this all up well.
High protein spinach pesto:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup spinach after blanching
4-5 cloves of garlic
8-10 walnuts roasted
Salt & pepper to taste
3 tbsp olive oil
100 gms paneer
1/2 cup cheese or more
1 tsp lemon juice
Blitz together spinach and the above ingredients into a smooth paste and add a splash of water if needed.
Start to layer this.
1. Start with a layer of bread. Lay down 3 slices.
2. Cover with 1/2 the coleslaw
3. Lay down another layer of bread, covering with high protein spinach dip.
4. Lay another layer of bread
5. Spread the remaining coleslaw
6. Cover with the last layer of bread.
7. Frost the top and sides of the bread with the remaining spinach pesto filling. Make sure it's all well covered. Garnish as you wish.
8. Refrigerate for 3-3 hours for it. Set properly, before we slice it up.

Paneer shawarma rice bowl:
Spiced rice:
1. Oil
2. Garlic- 3-4
3. Green chillies- 2
4. Onion- 1
5. Red chilli powder- 1tsp
6. Turmeric- 1/2 tsp
7. Jeera powder- 1/2 tsp
8. Salt
9. Basmati rice- 1/2 cup
10. Water- 1 cup
11. Lemon juice - 1/2 lemon
- Sauté finely chopped garlic, green chillies, and sliced onion until the onion turns slightly golden brown.
- Add all the spices and mix well.
- Add the washed and soaked rice, and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add boiling water along with lemon juice. Cover and let it cook completely.
Paneer tikka slices:
1. Paneer - 200gms
2. Gg paste- 1 tbsp
3. Red chilli powder- 2 tsp
4. Coriander powder- 1 tsp
5. Turmeric powder- 1/4th tsp
6. Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
7. Salt
8. Dahi- 1/4th cup
9. Kasuri methi
- Poke holes in the paneer block.
- Marinate it with all the ingredients mentioned above.
- Pan-fry on both sides until nicely charred.
- Cut into slices.
Veggie Salad:
1. Lettuce
2. Onion
3. Cucumber
4. Jalapeño
5. Lemon juice
6. Black pepper
7. Salt
Garlic sauce:
1. Yogurt- 1/4th cup
2. Honey- 1/2tsp
3. Garlic- 1 tsp (finely chopped)
4. Coriander leaves
5. Lemon juice- 1/2 tsp
6. Tahini / mustard sauce- 1 tsp (optional)
For batch cooking, prep the rice and paneer ahead, store in the fridge, and toss the salad fresh daily for that perfect crunch.

White Chicken Karahi 🤍🍗
Half kg chicken — ready to impress!
• Heat 3 tbsp @houseofnurpur butter + ½ cup oil (or use only oil / ghee instead of butter).
• Grind 2 medium (or 1 large) onions into a paste. Sauté in the oil.
• Add chicken, sauté well.
• Mix in 2 tbsp @lazzatfoods ginger-garlic paste and cook 5 mins.
• Add:
• 1 tbsp coriander powder
• ½ tbsp cumin powder
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp red chili powder
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp white pepper
• 1 tbsp chopped green chilies
• Stir well, then add 1 bowl whisked yogurt.
• Let it cook, then add @olpersmilkpk cream at the end.
• Garnish with fresh coriander + ginger slices.
Serve hot with naan or roti 🤤✨
