FAA new state model? I’m here to try out a new SaaS: Society as a Service at the Network School, modelled on Network State by Balaji Srinivasan. Located at the Singapore Malaysian Border- Forest City (technically in Malaysia).
By the end of this month, I want brutally honest answers to:
1. Why did I come here, and did I actually get what I came for?
2. Why choose Network School over a normal city (SF / Dubai / Singapore / Bali)?
3. What worked, what didn’t - and my highlights and lowlights.
4. Who is this really for (and who will hate it)?

I spent my first weekend back in the UK in the most magical way, @tornandpolished and I modelled for lovely @aurelija.photography at a location that I’ve dreamt of visiting in sooo long, the iconic @strawbhillhouse 💕✨
I always thought that I’d visit there as a photographer but I must confess it was quite delightful for this to be first experience 😂 I guess playing make believe is really a joy for me whether that’s behind the lens or in front of it 🥹
If you’re in the UK or visiting please do give @strawbhillhouse a visit, the architecture is a charming blend of gothic, whimsy, and creative expression, and if you’re a book lover too then then library alone is worth the visit! 😭🙌

THCustom Tacoma Switch Mount📱
I removed the sunglasses holder and scanned the upper console using the @creality3dscanner Sermoon P1 scanner in 22 cross line laser mode, modelled in @adskfusion and printed on the @creality3d K2 Pro at 0.2 mm layer height using @eryone3d ASA-GF filament. The mount was engraved using the @laserpecker LP5 fiber laser. It was designed to fit the @4x4spod Bantam X HD switch panel but could easily be modified to fit others.
Shoutout to @tacomaadventures for volunteering his overland rig for the project!

THScan ➡️ Model ➡️ Print ➡️ Click into place
We needed a trim piece for our sprinter rear step so I used the 3DeVOK MT scanner in IR Hybrid Alignment mode (no spray or markers needed), modelled in fusion 360 and printed on the @bambulab_official H2S at 0.2 mm layer height using ASA. I engraved using the LP5 fiber laser.
