HIGH PROTEIN MOONG DAL IDLI Introducing the delicious and nutritious Moong Dal Idli! 🌿 This South Indian dish is not only tasty but also packed with protein and essential nutrients. A perfect option for a healthy breakfast or snack, Moong Dal Idli is easy to make and will surely leave your taste buds satisfied. Made from a blend of moong dal and rice, these steamed idlis are light, fluffy, and a great alternative to traditional idlis. If you’re looking to explore more healthy and delicious South Indian dishes, be sure to give Moong Dal Idli a try. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed! Ingredients : 1 cup Moong Dal 1/4 cup Semolina (Suji) 1/4 cup Curd (Dahi)- if don’t eat curd then use water 2 chopped Green Chillies 1 chopped small Ginger Knob Salt as per taste Water (as required) Veggies as per your choice 1 tsp Fruit Salt (Eno) Method : Soak 1 cup Moong Dal in water for 2 hours and keep aside Further take 1/4 cup Suji in a mixing bowl Add 1/4 cup Dahi, give it a good mix and keep aside Take soaked moong dal in a mixie Add 2 chopped Green Chillies Add 1 chopped small Ginger Knob Add a little Water and churn to a thick batter Transfer it in a mixing bowl Add soaked Suji Add Salt as per taste and mix it Add finely chopped veggies as per your choice (I have taken carrot & coriander) Put the steamer on & grease Idli mould with Oil Add 1 tsp Fruit Salt (Eno) and mix it Fill the batter in Idli mould and steam for 15-20 min on medium heat Take idlis on a serving plate Enjoy Protein Rich Moong Dal Idli with Tomato Chutney . . So I have shared a Moong Dal Chilla Recipe with you today…  Many people encounter a problem while making Moong Dal Chilla!!  Either the chillas become soggy and do not become crisp or the Moong Dal Chilla sticks to the Tawa while cooking… So I have shared with you tips & tricks on how to make the perfect Moong Dal Chilla easily!!! Grind to a smooth paste with ginger, green chilies, salt and ½ cup water. Add 1 tbsp rava and mix well. Rest the batter for 10 minutes. Add more water to make a smooth batter. Spread a ladleful of the batter on a medium hot tawa. Allow the chilla to crisp a little. Grate paneer on the chilla. Top with carrot, capsicum, beetroot juliennes. Sprinkle chat masala, fold over and serve.
