Neck and shoulder aches and pains that keeps coming back? You might be ignoring one essential muscle. Your serratus anterior. Most people try to fix neck, shoulder, or upper back aches by stretching the area that hurts. But often the real issue isn’t just tightness. It’s that other muscles are doing work the serratus anterior should be helping with. When the serratus anterior isn’t doing its job, your shoulders lose stability and other muscles start compensating. And that’s when those nagging aches show up.
