WUI had the pleasure of gifting one of my Happy Haunts MULTIPLANES Dioramas to the one and only Bob Gurr. I’m star struck every time I see him. We were both vendors at the Bob Baker Marionette show last month and while I was there I took over a couple of my products to give him as a thanks for the inspiration he’s given me over the years. His design and engineering work literally made the kinetic energy come to life at Disneyland. He had a direct hand in the design of the Monorail, Autopia, Haunted Mansion Doom Buggies vehicles and much more. Bob being the gracious guy that he is, gave me a signed poster of the mansion and a few stories about his design work.
This is one of those days that makes the pursuit of art worth it. I’ll treasure it forever. Thanks @bobgurrofficial
