NEMiss Universe Contestants Walk Out After Miss Mexico Publicly Berated
Tensions flared at a Miss Universe pre-pageant event in Thailand when Miss Universe Thailand director Nawat Itsaragrisil berated Miss Mexico, Fatima Bosch, for allegedly not posting required promotional content. The incident, which unfolded in front of dozens of international contestants, prompted a wave of walkouts in a powerful show of solidarity.
When Bosch objected to being singled out, Nawat raised his voice, threatened to disqualify her and anyone supporting her, and called security. Bosch exited the room, and several contestants followed, including reigning
Miss Universe Victoria Kjaer Theilvig of Denmark, who said, “This is about women's rights… To trash another girl is beyond disrespectful.”
The confrontation was caught on livestream and has since gone viral, sparking outrage across social media. Nawat later apologized publicly but denied calling Bosch a “dumbhead,” instead claiming his words were misunderstood.
The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) swiftly condemned Nawat’s actions as “malicious” and a “serious abuse,” announcing that international executives would assume control of the pageant’s operations in Thailand. MUO president Raul Rocha affirmed that legal action is underway and reiterated that the organization is meant to empower women, not intimidate them.
Despite the controversy, the pageant continues in Bangkok, with the winner to be crowned on November 21.

BRNile's Spinal Cord Fluid (CSF) showed extremely high neutrophil inflammation at 600, usually consistent with a bacterial infection. The pathologist however didn't see any bacteria on his slides. She did a second look and even put in an addendum to the report a few days later showing again no bacteria.
However Niles has been getting nightly fevers about 102.4 which is on the cut off. A true dog fever temperature starts at 102.5 so on he is on the boarder line. I started his clindamycin which is an antibiotic that crosses the blood brain barrier, after stopping it due to side effects and because the pathology report said no bacteria. Now I am thinking we need to stay on it.
It's so hard having a dog with MUO because sometimes they just feel better so it's hard to tell if this is from the antibiotics or just part of the waxing and waning of the disease.
Either way he seems to be a lot better and his temperature is normal so I am going to continue to the antibiotics until we run out.

Fast forward to the beginning of the Miss Universe pageant, where she stood her ground when she was disrespected by one of the national directors, Fatima has not been afraid to speak her mind, stay true to her morals all while being glamorous, gorgeous, stylish and embodying the attributes of a true queen! I’m very happy for her and this well deserved victory! Tonight she did everything right and earned this crown!
