JJAfter graduating from and using my 4 years of eligibility at UCLA, I didn’t feel like I was done yet. When going through the recruiting process in high school, I was looking at schools for both indoor and beach volleyball, and ultimately ended up choosing one over the other. So even though I got to live out my dream of playing beach volleyball in college, I wanted to live out my dream of playing indoor volleyball, too. Per NCAA eligibility rules, you can play an extra year of a different sport, so that’s what I did! I used a 5th year of eligibility to play indoor volleyball in the BIG10 at Indiana University, where we had a record breaking year and finished ranked 13 in the country while also getting a master’s in business school. Choosing to transfer and switch sports for an extra year of eligibility was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I am so grateful for everyone who made it so amazing 🫶🏼
