I can’t stress enough how important it is to trust your gut & to never allow anyone normalise your painful periods. Periods that stop you in your tracks & from doing your day to day activities is never normal! I was continually told my periods were ‘my normal’ when they definitely were not & by the time I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis the damage had already been done. We need to stop normalising pain & listening to our patients!
