I have managed to run a lot of saws in my day and did not expect to like this one as much as I do. It has become a mainstay on all of my jobs an is used by entire crews consistently for all manner of work.

So many things to talk about that work really well here. Powerful. Accurate. Stable. Projected blade shadow. Great features like the bevel locking system. Cool innovations like the flip lock on the fence wings. The blades from Hilti are real high quality. Good solid dust collection. I’ve also really enjoyed and utilized the RPM dial for harder material…

Take a moment to notice the Bluetooth adapter I taped to the trigger handle. This controls the power to the Hilti dust collection I’m using that still has a cord. It’s a great hybrid solution.

Long story short, I’m super impressed with this saw as I am with a lot of what Hilti is putting out into the world woodworking world. It has put a number of my other miter boxes in storage…

Notes of criticism…the stand could use some work. It’s a bit flimsy for such a large capacity saw, but not the worst I’ve used.

Right now this one is my ride or die.
•
I look forward to talking more about the @hiltinorthamerica track saw and the absolutely amazing air scrubber they’ve put in the market.

This is a completely cordless Nuron setup from Hilti.
Instead if having a super long track I use the connector with 2 tracks to make a long one
