Cow’s milk and oat milk are very different nutritionally, and the idea that oat milk is “healthier” isn’t always accurate. Cow’s milk is a whole food that naturally contains complete protein, calcium, vitamin B12, and fat-soluble vitamins that are already in a form your body absorbs well. It doesn’t need heavy processing to deliver those nutrients. Most oat milks, on the other hand, are highly processed. They’re largely made from water, refined oats, and added oils—often canola oil—to create a creamy texture. Those oils are included for mouthfeel, not nutrition, and the vitamins and minerals in oat milk are usually added back synthetically after processing. While oat milk can work for people who avoid dairy, it’s not nutritionally equivalent to cow’s milk and doesn’t provide the same protein quality or natural nutrient density.

Use of antibiotics and steroids to control infections and increase yield can enter our system. A2 cow milk May be easier to digest than regular milk for some, but it still contains lactose and saturated fat that can trigger low-grade inflammation. Health benefits are limited beyond basic nutrition. Coconut milk Contains MCTs that support gut health and have anti-inflammatory effects. High saturated fat means moderation is important for heart health. Ragi milk Naturally anti-inflammatory, rich in polyphenols, fiber, and calcium. Supports gut health, blood sugar control, and bone strength. Sesame milk Provides antioxidants like sesamin and healthy fats with anti-inflammatory properties. Calorie density means benefits depend on portion size. Almond milk (unsweetened) Very low inflammatory potential and rich in vitamin E and antioxidants. Supports metabolic health and is easy to digest. Oat milk Beta-glucans support gut health, but higher carbohydrate content may increase inflammation in insulin-resistant individuals. This So Good Reset has genuinely been making me feel so inspired in the kitchen. I’m way more excited about putting together meals that are both nourishing and actually yum - highly recommend! 3 cups cooked rice 2 3/4 cups So Good High Protein Oat Milk Extra oat milk, if needed 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla extract 3 tbsp maple syrup 2 scoops vanilla protein powder 1/2 tbsp cornflour 1. Add the rice and oat milk to a saucepan over medium heat. Stir often until it begins to simmer. 2. Cover and cook on low for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add extra oat milk to thin, if needed. 3.Stir through the cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup and protein powder until smooth. #sogood28dayreset

French Toast Iced Latte 🤎 Recipe: - ice cubes - 150 ml/ 5 oz of your milk of choice (I used oat milk) - 20 ml / 2/3 oz of maple syrup - add a pinch of salt (I added a little to much) & 1 tsp of brown sugar to your espresso glass. - Brew a double shot of espresso on top - while the espresso brews/ sits make your cold foam: * 3 oz oat cream (or heavy cream) * optionally 1 tbsp of mascarpone for extra creaminess + a splash of milk if you use mascarpone or heavy cream * 1/2 tsp of cinnamon * 1 tsp of vanilla extract * splash of maple syrup * froth froth froth - mix and slowly pour your espresso on top of your iced milk - add the cold foam on top That’s it.
