DOOCEAN BEACH — let’s come together. 🇯🇲💛
On Sunday 12/14 from 12–8pm, local bands are uniting at The Holding Company (Ocean Beach) for an all-day music event to raise money for the children of Jamaica affected by Hurricane Melissa.
This storm devastated many rural communities —
➡️ Over 30,000 children were displaced from their homes
➡️ More than 60% of schools in the hardest-hit regions suffered major damage
➡️ Thousands of families are still without basic essentials
We can’t fix everything — but we can show up. Come enjoy live music, positive energy, and a day full of love and solidarity. Every dollar goes directly toward relief efforts for kids and families rebuilding after the storm.

LABeing involved has always mattered to me.
My alma mater, Ball State University, is where I really found my footing and started shaping my leadership voice. Even today, I stay connected. I serve on the board for our Chicago alumni club and stay active in efforts that give back.
Last month, during One Ball State Day, I helped raise funds to create a scholarship for a local Chicago student. Out of the blue, I got a message that I won a contest with the Young Alumni Council, and look at this amazing box of Cardinal swag they sent me!
I love being part of a community that celebrates connection and impact.
