As you move up levels in hockey, time and space disappear FAST ⏱️
What worked before… won’t work anymore.
At lower levels, you can:
➡️ Catch the puck
➡️ Stickhandle
➡️ Set your feet
➡️ Then shoot
But at higher levels? That extra second is gone. ❌
Defenders close quicker 🧱
Goalies read better 🥅
And plays die instantly.
That’s why being able to shoot in stride is a GAME CHANGER 💥
It means:
⚡ You release the puck without slowing down
⚡ You become unpredictable
⚡ You attack defenders instead of letting them set up
⚡ You create scoring chances out of nothing
The best players don’t need time… they CREATE it.
When you can shoot in stride:
🔥 You keep defenders guessing
🔥 You force goalies to move laterally
🔥 You turn small windows into real chances
🔥 You play FAST — and fast is what gets you noticed

🏒 Practice shooting without stopping (even if it feels awkward at first)
🏒 Work on weight transfer while moving
