I'm going to be soooooo honest while taking the p*** out of myself. February has been HARD MAN If you have a favourite shop in your local village town city PLEASE come visit us. The struggle is real for a lot of independent retailers and while we all appreciate the online business (because lets face it its keeping shop doors open!!) I don't want to speak for anyone else when I say this but the reason why I opened my doors in the first place is to build communities and sell beautiful things in real life and enjoy people's company while they peruse my beautiful shop. We are humans we need connection. The storefront bombed this weekend. In part - I’m guessing - bc I did v little last week on socials to show all the cool stuff in the shop & remind ppl we exist. BC I didn’t have time. But thank goodness we have been little listing demons over here for weeks, and sold some direct orders from the website, plus some bundles & individual garments on EBay. Anytime the store underperforms it’s worrisome, but it happens more than you might think. And, we expect low storefront traffic in general bc we are off the beaten path. We have a gorgeous shop at a very affordable price, but we really have to be someone’s destination. 🤷‍♀️ If you’ve read this far u sure are nosy! Jk. Thx for following along.
