MAWe have been getting a few questions about the new seat we printed for the 3D TMT!!
This seat is printed with Phaetus Aero TPU (I ordered mine through @west3dprinting) printed to a density of 66A on a @bambulab_official H2D.
The entire seat is too tall for the build volume, so the top 2” are printed separately and glued on. A single solid layer interface layer is printed onto both parts and they are attached with a couple dabs of superglue.
This seat is 10% gyroid infill with no walls and 10 bottom layers for build plate adhesion and easier handling.
Varying both the flow rate and infill amount will yield different overall densities. It’s possible this one might be a little too soft!!
We will test this with our users and get some feedback!!
