PHWhen someone asks about my religion, I remember Carl Jung's insight:
When one person suffers from a delusion, it's insanity. When many share the same delusion, it's religion.
If God exists. He might find blind worship more of fensive than honest doubt.
Perhaps the quote isn't about denying faith, but about questioning its forms. If a true God values sincerity, then religion, in its flawed human interpretations, might be the greater blasphemy. It forces us to ask is belief about submission, or about truth? And if God is real, does He demand faith, or understanding?
