Fill it with my easy salad 🥗, creamy paneer stuffing and refreshing yogurt dip for the ultimate pita pocket🥙 feast! INGREDIENTS Activate the Yeast: - 1/2 Cup (120 ml) Warm Water - 1 Tsp (4 g) Sugar - 1 & 1/2 Tsp (4 g) Active Dry Yeast Dough: - 2 Cup (240 g) All Purpose Flour/Maida - 3/4 Tsp (4.5 g) Salt - 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Oil - 1/4 Cup + 2 Tbsp (90 ml) Water - 1-2 Tsp (5–10 ml) Oil Paneer Filling: - 100 gm Paneer - 1/2 Tsp Lemon Juice - 2 Pinch Black Pepper - 1/4 Tsp Chilli Flakes - Salt Yogurt Dip: - 1/2 Cup Yogurt/Curd - 2 Small Garlic Cloves - 2 Pinch Black Pepper - 1 Tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Salt Salad: - 1 Medium Cucumber - 1 Medium Tomato - 1 Small Onion - 1/4 Cup Fresh Coriander - 1/4 Cup Mint Leaves - 1-2 Tsp Anardana Powder - 2-3 Pinch Salt METHOD - Take warm water and sugar. Mix until the sugar is dissolved. Add yeast and mix. Cover and set aside for 10-15 minutes. - ⁠Take all purpose flour, add salt and mix well. Add yeast mixture and water. - ⁠Knead the dough well from 15 minutes manually or 5-7 minutes if using a stand mixer or hand beater with dough hook attachment. - ⁠Add 1 tsp oil and form a dough ball. Cover and rest till the dough doubles in size. - ⁠After the dough is risen, deflate it and divide into 8 equal sized portions. Use flour if the dough sticks to your hand. Roll into thin sheet like a paratha. - Preheat oven at 230°C for 10 minutes and bake the pita breads for 4-5 minutes. Bake in batches if you are not able to fir all 8 pita breads together in the oven. - ⁠The pita breads will rise and pocket will be formed inside. Take kitchen scissors and cut each bread into two. - ⁠Mix all ingredients of paneer stuffing. - ⁠Mix all ingredients of the salad to make easy salad. - ⁠Mix all the ingredients of the yogurt dip. - ⁠Take a pita pocket, place some salad inside. Now add paneer and pour some yogurt dip. Enjoy!

It puffs up every single time, it tastes AMAZING, and it's super easy to make – it's ready start to finish in about 45 minutes!! 🙌 I love this recipe sooo much, I genuinely make these *at least* 2-3 times per week. The key to getting them to puff up is to roll them to just the right thickness (about 5mm or just under ¼ inch), let them proof on the counter for about 15 minutes, and then cook them on high heat (but play around with the heat to see what works best for your stove). 💛 Full recipe is on my blog, link in my bio!! #pita #pitabread #flatbread #glutenfree #vegan

Crispy chicken shawarma 🌯 Ingredients For the chicken: 2 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut into pieces Salt to taste 1 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp red chili powder 1 tbsp smoked paprika powder 1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tsp cumin powder 1/2 tsp coriander powder 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tablespoon lemon juice 2 tbsp whole milk greek yogurt 1 tsp red pepper paste 1 tbsp tomato paste 2 tbsp oil ( for marinating ) + more for cooking the chicken For the garlic sauce: 1/2 cup mayonnaise 3 tbsp sour cream 1 tbsp lemon juice 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced Salt to taste 1 tbsp olive oil For the shawarma glaze: 1/2 cup oil 1 tbsp red pepper paste or tomato paste 1 tbsp sumac Pinch of salt 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses For the sumac onion: 1 red onion, thinly sliced Squeeze of lemon juice 1 tsp sumac 1 tbsp parsley, freshly chopped Salt to taste 1 tbsp oil To assemble 6 thin pita bread 1 cup tomato, seeded and diced French fries Method: Marinade the chicken: In a bowl, combine chicken with salt, black pepper, red chili powder, smoked, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, coriander, turmeric, onion powder. Add lemon juice, Greek yogurt, red pepper paste, tomato paste, oil. Mix well until the chicken is fully coated. Cover and marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight. Make sauce: In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, and salt until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to use. For the glaze : Mix oil, red pepper paste, sumac, salt, and pomegranate molasses in a small bowl. Set aside. For Sumac Onions: Combine sliced onion, lemon juice, sumac, parsley, salt, and oil. Toss well and set aside. Heat oil In skillet over medium high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook in batches for about 8–10 minutes until fully cooked and slightly charred. Assemble the Shawarma: Take the pita wrap. Spread garlic sauce, add chicken, fries, sumac onions, fries and diced tomatoes.�Roll the pita tightly into a wrap. This homemade pita bread is incredibly versatile: fill it, wrap it, tear it for dipping or enjoy it plain. 👉 English recipe in the first comment ⸻ 📝 Ricetta – Pane Pita in padella (IT) Ingredienti • 200 ml acqua tiepida • 200 ml latte tiepido • 20 g lievito di birra fresco (oppure 6 g lievito secco) • 10 g sale • circa 570–600 g farina 00 • 20 g olio extravergine d’oliva Procedimento Impasta tutti gli ingredienti insieme fino a ottenere un impasto liscio e morbido (anche leggermente appiccicoso). Copri e lascia lievitare per 45 minuti. Dividi l’impasto in 7–8 palline, copri e lascia riposare 15 minuti per far rilassare la pasta. Stendi delicatamente e lascia riposare altri 5–10 minuti.
