TH3 ways to fix skin tones in DaVinci Resolve
First, you’ll need the vectorscope first and the qualifier/masks to isolate the skin.
Methods:
1. Hue vs. Hue / Hue vs. Sat Curves — target the orange range without touching everything else
2. HSL Curves — sample the skin, isolate it, fix it
3. Color Warper — visually push skin hue and saturation in one move

JADavinci Resolve tips/tricks that’s helped my workflow in 2026
•
1: When setting up your project work out of a Davinci wide gamut colour space, this is a much larger colour space and is ideal for colour grading.
2: change your catch render to 1 second, this will mean when your mouse is idle for atleast 1 second resolve will automatically start caching files for a optimised playback.
3: if your working on a older system change timeline resolution to half or quarter and set render cache to smart
4: if your clips are orientated and you want to change a lot of them at once in the media pool highlight them all and right click go to clip attributes and you can change the orientation.
5: when colour grading or if you have a dual monitor set one of them to clean feed. To do that click window scroll down to video clean feed and selects a monitor. #tips #davinci #resolve

They shift exposure and color in small, controlled steps, making them reliable for balancing without breaking your grade.
Master = brightness
RGB = color balance
It’s one of the easiest ways to get clean results fast in Resolve. You can even use the numpad on your keyboard with them👌
