هذا الكمبيوتر الصغير لا بد أن يكون في حوزة كل من يهتم بجمع الأجهزة القديمة، لفرادته ولتقنياته السابقة لزمانها. جهاز سايون من الفئة الخامسة المصنوع في المملكة المتحدة الذي ظهر للعلن في 1997 بعد النجاح الكبير الي حققته الفئة الثالثة في عدد من الأسواق حول العالم.
إذا كنا نتحدث عن الكمبيوترات الشخصية أو ما يعرف بالـ PC فهي الأجهزة الأكثر تقدماً، ولكن قابليتها للحمل والتنقل قد لا تكون مرنة بكافة صورها، فجاءت أجهزة المساعد الرقمي الشخصي الـ PDA لتساعد في ربط المستخدمين ببياناتهم عند التنقل في جميع الأوقات لكونها تستطيع تنظيم المواعيد وتخزين الملاحظات وقائمة الأسماء، لكنها كانت محدودة جداً فيما تقدمه، إلى أن ظهر جهاز سايون الفئة الخامسة، الذي يمكن القول بأنه أقرب للكمبيوترات الشخصية منه إلى أجهزة المساعد الرقمي الشخصي.
جاء الكمبيوتر بمعمارية 32 بت التي تتيح معالجة أكبر للبيانات وسرعة في نقلها، إضافة لحصوله على معالج للنصوص ومعالج للجداول، وقابلية للاتصال بشبكات الانترنت عبر مودم خاص. كما تميز بشاشته اللمسية الكبيرة العالية الدقة بمقاس 5.6 بوصة، وبلوحة المفاتيح التي نالت رضا الأغلبية من المستخدمين وحمستهم لاستخدام الجهاز كأداة إنتاجية مهمة.
هذا الوصف طويل، ولكن نقطة أخيرة نذكرها بأن شركة سايون البريطانية بنظام إيبوك EPOC في جهازها هذا كانت البداية الفعلية لانتشار نظام سيمبيان الذي استخدم في ملايين الهواتف من إنتاج نوكيا وسوني إريكسون وسامسونج في بداية الألفية الثالثة.

Every gadget collector should have one of these lovely palmtop computers in his collection.Its called #PsionSeries5, it was made by the UK based company in 1997, succeeding the 3 series that proved to be popular in many markets.
This computer was based on 32 bit architecture, which means more processing power and higher data transfer. It had a word processor, spreadsheet, and internet connectivity via a modem. The big 5.6” touch sensitive screen was a plus and the keyboard was something that everyone had to put their hands on!
Before we wrap up, one last point. The EPOC operating system in these Psions paved the road to Symbian OS that was put on millions of smartphones.

RPMetamorph Psion is back and horrifying as ever. The latest DnD unearthed arcana made some great updates to the subclass. It’s much more effective, especially in terms of resource management, but it still has issues. Perhaps most important: it’s a Gish with d6 hit dice and nothing to boost your AC at low levels.

RPLife Siphon is a bad spell. DnD’s Unearthed Arcana can be all over the place in balance terms, but this may be the weakest combat spell that I’ve ever seen in DnD. It’s also horribly boring.
