The worst mistake you can make with your reed diffusers is putting them in the wrong place and then blaming the diffuser. I learned this one in my own house and honestly… it annoyed me more than it should have 😂 I had one of my diffusers sitting in the living room, styled perfectly on a side table. It looked gorgeous. Proper “this room is done” energy. But every time I walked in, I couldn’t smell a thing. I remember thinking, that’s not right… I know how strong this is. So I moved it. Literally just from that “pretty corner” into my hallway where people actually walk past all day. And within hours, the whole space smelled incredible. Not overpowering, just constant, clean, noticeable. That’s when it clicked for me. Reed diffusers don’t need babysitting. You shouldn’t have to keep flipping the reeds if they’re made properly. They need movement. Air flow. People walking past. That’s what carries the scent. If it’s tucked away on a shelf, in a quiet corner, or somewhere no one passes… it’s basically just decoration. Place it where life is happening, not where it just looks nice. That’s when it actually does its job. BTW, the reed in this reel is Paradox which is on Spotlight offer this weekend with 30% off. Why do you need to flip your diffuser reeds… ✨It provides a fresh burst of fragrance ✨It helps prevent the reeds from getting clogged (if the reeds get clogged the fragrance can’t be released)! Other things you should know about your diffuser… ✨Good quality reeds can last up to six months, but after the first month you might notice the scent starting to fade. That’s because dust and other impurities can start to clog up the reeds over time, which hinders the fragrance oil from diffusing properly. ✨For best results, we recommend switching out your diffuser reeds every 2 to 3 months & if you’re flipping your reeds weekly this should be perfect timing for your diffuser life too! ✨Keep your reed diffuser in a cool, shady location. This won’t affect the fragrance, but keeping the bottle at a lower temperature and out of direct sunlight will help it last longer. ✨It’s important to consider the size of the room it’s in and where to place it, choose an area with good air circulation but not next to air conditioners, windows, or corners. ✨We recommend flipping your reeds once a week. To do this, take the reeds out and put the dry end into the vessel, make sure to do this over a sink or trash can to avoid dripping oil onto your table or furniture.
