how to get them ⬇️ I pride myself on my denim knowledge and ownership. I probably have 40+ pairs of jeans because they are the foundation of my wardrobe. But this brand was completely unfamiliar to me. I first saw them @shopbop and I was intrigued but they were completely sold out … so I knew they had to be good. 🎯 comment DENIM and I’ll send a link to shop them straight to your DM’s! Which thankfully led me to their website and I’m so happy I went because to my shock and delight, they actually offer “annkle” lengths in their most popular styles which means I don’t have to hem them (to wear with a heel). They’re still too long with flats but that’s pretty standard on a 28” inseam. 📌 I’m wearing ORIGINAL STRAIGHT - in Brad Blue. Size 24 ankle. I’m only 5’0”. If you’re petite like me and are tired of hemming and want the sheer joy of buying a pair of perfectly fitting jeans off the rack for your heels, GET THESE. Now. And if you’re not petite, their long or regular jeans are a great option for you. For reference (from the brand) Ankle is our “cropped” leg length with a 72cm / 28” in leg Long is our “taller” leg length with a 82cm / 32” in leg. The fit is spot on. They make my 🍑 look so good thanks to those pockets and I just love the fit of this straight leg and mid /high waist. I am obsessed with these jeans to put it mildly. They’re that perfect “dressy” jeans that’s been so elusive for me. I took my true size (24), but if you’re used to wearing a stretchier denim, maybe go up a size. These are made with 99% Cotton & 1% Elastane so they have a more of a denim hand than a stretchy feel. Personally, I much prefer this. NOTE: This brand is based in AUSTRALIA, so shipping is free over $110 but it did take a week or so for them to arrive. 📍Rollas ou Rodo? Você conhece a origem dessa comunidade? A história começa com José Maria Rollas, um português que possuía uma fazenda em Santa Cruz desde 1928. Com o tempo, a propriedade foi abandonada e acabou sendo ocupada por quem buscava um recomeço. Nos anos 1960, mais de 300 famílias — entre lavradores, desempregados e trabalhadores em situação de vulnerabilidade — ocuparam a área em busca de melhores condições de vida. Com esforço coletivo, transformaram o local em lar. Com o crescimento urbano de Santa Cruz, a comunidade também se desenvolveu. Hoje, abriga mais de 30 mil moradores e é considerada uma das maiores da região. O nome “Rollas” surgiu em homenagem ao antigo dono das terras, mas com o tempo, por conta do duplo sentido, os moradores passaram a chamá-la também de “Rodo”. Hoje, os dois nomes convivem — e carregam a mesma trajetória de luta, resistência e pertencimento. ✊🏽 🧱🌱 Essa é mais uma história viva do nosso território.
