This week I ran 144+ miles and I don’t feel destroyed. Friday hill repeats. Back to back long runs Saturday and Sunday. Almost 73 miles in three days. I feel better than I have in a long time and that didn’t happen by accident. It came from consistency stacking up over months. Learning how to fuel. Learning when to push and when to hold back. I’m not training just to finish races. I’m training to compete. And big goals require doing things that once felt impossible. If your goals scare you a little, you’re probably on the right track.
