Here is the current situation on Waialua Beach Road, where sections are sitting under roughly 3 feet of water!” — @ryzone ✅ Hawai’i hit by its second Kona low in a week — flood watch through Sunday ✅ Waialua Beach Road sitting under 3 feet of water — cars swallowed, roads gone ✅ 233 people rescued by official emergency services — but locals were out FIRST ✅ Volunteers gave their trucks, supplies, and lives in the middle of the night when the state was still asleep ✅ Noah Pang loaded 33 people, kids, cats, and dogs into his dump truck and kept stopping for anyone stranded ✅ Gov. Green estimates more than $1 billion in damage ✅ More rain expected — the storm is not over The state counts rescues in the morning. The people were already out at 2 a.m. 🔁 Share this.
