Not Buffering Enough Chapters: I didn't stockpile enough chapters ahead of time, leaving me with no buffer and struggling to keep up with the release schedule. 🖼️ 2. Choosing an Elaborate Style: I opted for a detailed art style early on, making it challenging and time-consuming to maintain consistency and potentially limiting my ability to experiment with different styles in the future. 🔮 3. Underutilizing Clip Studio Assets: I wasn't fully aware of the extensive range of pre-made assets and materials available in #clipstudiopaint , which could have saved me considerable time and effort. 🫣 4. Neglecting 3D Tools: I overlooked the potential of 3D modeling tools to streamline the creation of backgrounds and objects, which could have significantly improved my workflow. 🤯 5. Overfocusing on Details: I poured too much time and effort into intricate details that might not be fully appreciated by readers, potentially sacrificing overall storytelling and pacing. 🎨 6. Lack of Character References: I failed to create color model sheets or palettes for my characters, making it difficult to maintain consistent coloring and requiring me to constantly refer back to previous chapters. 🧐 7. Perfectionist Paralysis: My perfectionist tendencies led to excessive reworking and delays, as I struggled to let go of imperfections and accept that not every panel needs to be flawless. I took a day to make some headway on my comic book project. It became a very “full” day. The gym. Writing and editing for a couple hours, allowing me to lock down the script for issue 1. Things took a design detour to meet with clients and do some logo design. But got to end the day watching @inkpulp and @jimmahfood doing art on their new Live show while finishing up pencils on my one-page Hellboy/Nightcrawler story.
