Sometimes the most "productive" thing we can do for ourselves is to simply be present in our struggle. Angelina’s words remind us that there are no shortcuts to strength. To lead, to create, and to inspire, we must first allow ourselves the grace to move through the difficult moments. Keep going. The other side is waiting for you. 🤍 XO, RL #SelfCare #InnerStrength #FemaleFounders #EmotionalIntelligence #WalkThroughIt

How to take care of your hair according to your hair porosity✨ First things first — what’s your hair porosity? It’s basically how well your hair absorbs and holds onto moisture. Once you know that, caring for your hair gets way easier (and way less frustrating). 💎 LOW POROSITY HAIR Your hair is picky, but loyal once you treat it right. • Deep condition only when needed — heat is your bestie here 🔥 • Clarify often to keep product buildup away • Go easy on protein — too much can make hair stiff • Skip heavy butters & thick oils (they just sit there 😭) • Choose low-suds shampoos over co-washing to avoid buildup 🌸 MEDIUM POROSITY HAIR The “it girl” of porosities — balanced and flexible. • Deep condition regularly, especially with heat • Keep protein in your routine, just not every single day • Clarify on a schedule to keep things fresh • Co-wash or low-poo shampoos work beautifully for you 🔥 HIGH POROSITY HAIR Moisture comes fast… but leaves just as fast. • Deep condition regularly, but don’t overdo it • Leave-in conditioner is non-negotiable • Be careful with heavy products, especially on fine hair • Protein is your friend — use it consistently • Stick to low-poo or low-suds shampoos and clarify often ✨ Pro tip: Healthy hair isn’t about trends — it’s about what your hair actually needs. Learn it, love it, and let it glow. #hair #haircare #haircaretips #glowup #selfcare healthyhair everydayroutine

🩷 if you agree. You are your first love, so treat yourself like it. Go ahead and slow down long enough to really get to know who you are, to court your own heart, to cherish your own company, and to fall in love with every unique, beautiful layer that makes you you.✨ Spend time with yourself. Get curious about yourself. Celebrate your quirks, your strengths, your softness, your fire. There is something so powerful about choosing yourself, honoring your story up until now, and embracing the one that is still being written. Write the best love letter to yourself. You are an incredible human being, and you deserve your own care, your own attention, and your own affection. Save as a reminder and share with someone who needs this too. After 32 years as a social drinker, and deep into perimenopause, I chose to go alcohol-free. It wasn’t easy. But it changed everything. Here are 8 things I’ve learned in 8 years, the bits no one really talks about. 1️⃣ Cravings don’t last forever They feel loud at first, then they go quiet. And one day you realise they’ve passed. Distraction helped me more than willpower. Walks, workouts, learning a new skill. Ride the wave. It’s worth it. 2️⃣ You don’t owe anyone an explanation Most people are far more focused on what’s in their glass than yours. Your choices don’t need justifying. 3️⃣ Social confidence actually grows Showing up without a drink can feel awkward at first. But over time, I realised I was calmer, more grounded, and far more present without alcohol. 4️⃣ I stopped relying on alcohol for my dopamine It had been my shortcut to feeling good. Without it, I relearned how to feel joy through real experiences. Movement, connection, nature, laughter, music. Not something poured into a glass. 5️⃣ Alcohol-free rituals really matter I realised it wasn’t just the alcohol I missed. It was the ritual. A drink used to signal “switch off” or “relax”. So I created a new ritual instead - sparkling water in a big gin glass, lots of ice, fresh fruit. It still felt special, just without the consequences. 6️⃣ Feeling your feelings is powerful When you stop numbing emotions, you build real emotional strength. You become more aware of what you need, and better at listening to yourself. 7️⃣ You start to treasure your mornings, especially Sundays Waking up clear-headed, no anxiety, no guilt. Just calm energy and weekends that feel lighter and more productive. Alcohol-free gave me time back. 8️⃣ You’re not missing out. You’re gaining everything Better sleep. More energy. Improved health. Clearer skin. Easier weight management. Faster progress in the gym. Sharper focus. Deeper connections. More money. More purpose. More life. At 55, I can honestly say I’d choose this path again in a heartbeat. Does this resonate, or are you questioning your relationship with alcohol? Save this for later 💛 #alcoholfree #fitover50 #alcoholfreelife #selfcare #strongwomen

1. The first time I did it, I was skeptical. We’ve been taught since childhood that salt is harmful. But within 15 minutes, I felt lightness in my body and clarity in my head. It turns out that water with salt activates the adrenal glands and restores electrolytes that are always low after sleep. 2. Doctors explain that a lack of minerals in the morning causes fatigue, dizziness, and blood pressure fluctuations. Salted water restores sodium balance, improves circulation, and increases oxygen delivery to the brain. That’s why many people feel more awake than after coffee. 3. After a week, constant headaches and swelling disappeared. The paradox: the right kind of salt doesn’t cause water retention. It helps the body distribute fluids correctly. The body stops holding excess water — and you feel lighter, inside and out. 4. An unexpected effect was digestion. Salted water in the morning stimulates enzyme release and prepares the stomach for food. Instead of heaviness after meals, there was steady energy. Doctors call this a gentle “reset” of the digestive system. 5. The routine is simple: Add a small pinch of sea salt to a glass of warm water. Drink it on an empty stomach. Within days, energy improves. Within weeks, the body starts functioning differently. ❗ Write “1” in the comments and I’ll explain the full morning reset system. #morningroutine #healthhabits #energyreset #holistichealth #selfcare

1. I don’t check my work phone or emails until 8am 📱 I try to give myself time first. Breakfast, a walk, some movement, whatever fills my cup before I start holding space for everyone else. 2. Before I open my laptop for sessions,I take one slow breath with a longer exhale 🧘 It tells my body I’m safe and steady before I step into the space. 3. I unclench my jaw and drop my shoulders between sessions 😌 This helps me loosen any tension so I’m not carrying it with me from client to client. 4. I put both feet flat on the floor and actually feel them there 🛋️ This grounds me in the space and creates a shift into physical presence. 5. I get outside between sessions, ideally for a walk, if not just for a few minutes natural light 💡 Even on packed days, especially on packed days! 6. I soften my space 🕯️ A lamp instead of overhead lights. A candle and a tidy space. My nervous system responds well to my environment 7. I name what I’m feeling instead of pushing through it 📝 “Overstimulated.” “Tense.” “Tired.” Naming it softens it. 8. I ask myself: what actually needs my energy right now? ‼️ Not everything is urgent! 9. I do 10 seconds of shaking out my hands and stretching 🙆🏼 Stress is physical and so is release. 10. I remind myself: I can move at a regulated pace 🐢 Pace ≠ productivity #therapistsofinstagram #privatepractice #selfcare #nervoussystemreset #nervoussystemhealing
