Day 2 - done! Our Philippines service trip attendees range in age from 19 years old to a young 85, bringing together a diverse group of volunteers of Y youth, teen and young adult staff leaders, college students, @rotaryclubofhonolulu members, @nanincconstruction employees and friends to help build three classrooms for the remote village of Siquijor. Day 2 focused on continuing to cement the classroom floors where we mix it and lay it by hand. We finished the floor for the first of three classrooms we are building and continued digging a six foot deep hole for the septic tank for the classroom bathrooms. Our partners, the @rotaryclubofhonolulu’s mission and motto of “Service Above Self” is being lived daily here!

Najkrótsza zaś definicja tej organizacji brzmi: „Rotary jest stowarzyszeniem przedsiębiorców i ludzi różnych zawodów z całego świata, które świadczy pomoc humanitarną, promuje wysokie normy etyczne w każdym zawodzie i pomaga budować dobrą wolę i pokój na świecie”.
