Here’s a quick reminder of the essentials for every sleep… day and night: ✨ Always place baby on their back ✨ Keep head and face uncovered ✨ Keep baby smoke free ✨ Provide a safe sleep environment (firm, flat mattress with no pillows, toys, bumpers or loose bedding) ✨ Sleep baby in their own safe cot in the parents’ room for the first 6–12 months And when using blankets: ✔️ Place baby with feet at the bottom of the cot ✔️ Use lightweight blankets only ✔️ Tuck blankets firmly under the mattress on all 3 sides (both sides and the bottom) ✔️ Keep blankets no higher than chest level Small steps make a big difference in keeping babies safe while they sleep. #SafeSleepWeek #RedNoseAustralia #SafeSleeping #ParentingSupport
