Tilta Rig Build ASMR 🔊 One of my new favourite builds features many Tilta products. Starting off with the Tilta cage, it just offers a very comfortable grip on my hands that make it much nicer to hold the camera in my hands, as well as offer all the benefits that a cage would provide. The Tilta cage slides easily into the Tilta baseplate, with their special locking pin that adds even more security. Sliding in two rods, the Tilta Mini PD Vmount plate allows me to use it as a hub for all my cables, plugging in Dtap and USB-C cables and power them all off of one vmount. The Tilta Xeno top handle and side handle are very comfortable to hold, and with them being nato, can be easily attached or removed if I don’t need it. The Xeno top handle also has many mounting points, including a coldshoe, or a 1/4 20 hole that allows me to mount the Tilta accessory mount, which I’m using for my monitor. It offers PD 100W fast charging so I’m using the type-c connection to keep the camera’s battery constantly charged. I’ve tried a couple of dummy batteries before but both had connection issues. Compact Vertical ‘Cine’ Build 🎥 Here’s a cool little setup I’ve been playing around with. I really love shooting with the VP-1 series of lenses and while the Focus Grip here might be overkill for most use-cases, it’s something I already own and makes pulling focus on a manual lens that much easier…I also love the ergo of the handle itself. The Mic 3 is great for capturing real-time sound effects and even pretty solid for capturing ambient sounds, but obviously any mic setup of your choosing could work here. The Polar Pro PM VND II is probably still the best VND I’ve tried…although I’ve been split between this and the Freewell CPL/VND. 🔗 I have a parts list for this build in my bio link called “ ‘Mini Cine’ Build 🎥 ” - feel free to use it for inspiration on your own setup or copy it part-for-part.
