_IWe’re starting a new series! If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I got certified as a Snowboard Instructor last season.
I have my CASI level 1, which certifies me to teach beginner snowboard lessons. Although I got a teaching job this season, I decided not to take it and just enjoy the season riding and making content. Since I’m not teaching, we’ve decided to teach on video!
This is part 1 of our beginner snowboard lessons. This might be super basic information for most people but we’re assuming that we’re teaching someone who’s never set foot on the snow/slopes. I hope that at least someone will find our teaching videos helpful 🥰
P.S. I have a true twin board so the nose and the tail are exactly the same. If you read “Shifter” it’s in the right orientation which makes the top the nose.

SPŻeby zjechać z góry najpierw trzeba na nią wjechać. Tu szybki opis jak to zrobić, aby nie narobić zamieszania.
Uwaga ze względu no to, że na nagrywce zjazd jest dość prosty, przepłaszczenie samo nas wyhamuje - nie pokazałem hamowania. W momencie, gdy nie ma tyle miejsca lub jest zjazd w dół:
- początek tak samo, stajemy na płaską deskę i odjeżdżamy do przodu
- opcja A zalecana - obracamy na backside lub frontside i dociskamy stopami krawędź (tak jakbyśmy mieli deskę wpiętą). Utrzymujemy większość ciężaru ciała na nodze prowadzącej (wpiętej).
- opcja B - zjeżdżamy na desce najtrudniejszy odcinek tuż przy wyciągu a następnie odstawiamy i "odbijajamy się" tylną nogą od śniegu, aby zmniejszyć prędkość i złapać równowagę jak na deskorolce.
PS To stare nagrywki jeszcze z poprzedniego sezonu. Nie wstawiłem, bo dopiero po nagraniu uświadomiłem sobie, że przydałby sie trudniejszy zjazd. Mam nadzieje że pomoże, a na następnym wyjeździe uzupełnie coś o jeżdżeniu one foot.
