But even more than that, they stand for the wounds we carry. The ones caused by others — and the ones we’ve caused ourselves. Scars that once came from pain, but now speak of strength.
I don’t see them as flaws. I see them as the most natural part of who we are.
Proof that we’ve lived, that we’ve felt deeply, and that we’ve healed.
