In no particular order these are the places I went to eat in Split where I thought the food was phenomenal and would recommend. 1. Pizzeria Sette Sorelle @pizzeria_sette_sorelle Second best pizza I’ve ever had 🙌 with a lovely terrace setting, friendly staff and reasonable prices. 2. Laganini @laganini_seafood_pasta_steak So good we visited twice. Amazing food, good value for money and lovely staff. Cute courtyard setting right near Diocletian’s Palace. 3. Anona @anona.split Great cocktails and really nice food. Very boujee and viral on social media. 4. Kavana Bar & Cuisine @kavana.bar.and.cuisine Right in the centre of the Old Town. Great food and lovely staff. 5. Restaurant Adriatic @restaurant_adriatic Beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea. Great cocktails and delicious food. TAK – i to kilka kroków od Starego Miasta w Splicie! 🇭🇷🍕 @salt.glutenfree to Salt Gluten-Free House, a nawet… dwa miejsca! 🏡 Obie lokalizacje dzieli zaledwie minuta czy dwie spaceru. Jedna z nich – Salt Gluten Free House Italian Cuisine – to idealne miejsce, by usiąść i zjeść spokojnie na miejscu. Znajdziecie tam większy wybór dań i typowo włoski klimat! ✔️ Całkowicie bezpieczne – wszystko bez glutenu. 🧀 Zwykły ser? Można wymienić na roślinny, i to naprawdę smaczny! 🌱 Są też roślinne opcje, jeśli jesteście na diecie vege. Co jedliśmy? • Pizza Sandwich – ogromna porcja, dużo dodatków, bardzo sycąca i pyszna! • Burger – niestety nie nasz faworyt. Bułka przypominała bardziej ciasto do pizzy, mięso dość suche. Może lepiej postawić na coś innego z menu? Na deser? 🍰 Też znajdziecie coś pysznego – również bez mleka, a czasem i w wersji wegańskiej. Zdjęcia deserków wrzucam na story. Znajdziecie je też później w relacji wyróżnionej z Chorwacji. 📍Jeśli jesteście w Splicie i szukacie bezpiecznego, smacznego miejsca bez glutenu – to must-visit! A może ktoś z Was już tam był? • Açai Kingdom • Hobart I have always loved a good açai bowl so imagine how happy I was when @_acaikingdom_ opened their new food truck right here in Moonah 🫶❤️ If you’ve never had an açai bowl before, it’s almost like a smoothie bowl but thicker, creamier and so much tastier 🥰 it’s made with açai berries and can be customised with any topping and sauces of your choice! I’d highly recommend getting the banana split here, which comes with two generous swirls of açai and bananas 🍌 but make sure you ask for a granola base, pistachio sauce and some biscoff crumbs 🤤 thank me later! 𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗩𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗧 🇭🇷🌱 Split has some great vegan options about, but they a little tricky to find. The local food is expectedly very meat and fish heavy, so it’s worth doing a bit of research before you go to find those vegan-friendly spots. All the places we visited were mixed menu, but there are a few exclusively veggie places (listed below). 🍅 @sexycowsplit A great spot for lunch, this place served huge jam-packed wraps. This was all veggies and was a bit messy, but tasty. 🍔 @goodfoodcro.split Another good place for lunch, this was decent veggie burger. They also do salad bowls if you fancy that. 🍜 @silkstreetfood Described as “pan-Asian fusion” - Silk was a nice change from the other food we’d had. They have a few tofu dishes and starters, but I opted for the pad thai. It was quite expensive (as was most places in Croatia) but really delicious. We went here in Dubrovnik too. 🥗 @fabrika_bistro This was my favourite place of the trip and it wasn’t even in Split! We found this spot during our Island Hopping Excursion when we stopped off at Komiza. I noticed their menu had some amazing vegan options and just had to try the seitan caesar salad 👌 AMAZING! 🌮 @tojetakosplit Right in the heart of Diocletian’s Palace we found this little Mexican restaurant. It was extremely popular with a huge queue outside which we waited in for probably an hour. We had the loaded patatas bravas (no pic cos I was so hungry 🤣) and then the cauliflower tacos. I have to admit this was quite underwhelming for me. Perhaps it was the long wait!
