Not because they’re bad stretches… They’re actually great stretches. BUT Y’ALL ARE DOING THEM SO WRONG!!! People who come to my class that are faithful in the gym have some of the TIGHTEST bodies I come across. And that’s because y’all are cheating your stretches or you don’t stretch at all. Stretch 1: Not gonna lie… There isn’t really a way to mess this one up BUTTT there are more effective stretches you can do than this one. (I’m just tired of seeing them in every video😭🤣 ) Stretch 2: It’s actually a great stretch, but y’all are cheating sooo bad when it turns to the hamstring portion. Stop grabbing your toes and push for a deeper stretch. Especially if you work legs a lot… Your hamstrings NEED a deep & effective stretch. Stretch 3: NO TIPPY TOES!! And no knees over your ankles. PLEASE!! I’m aware that these are to warm your muscles up… But don’t be warm and tight because you choose not to stretch correctly! And remember to stretch after you workout too🗣️🗣️

Here’s how to do it: ✅ Start on hands and knees ✅ Straighten one leg back, grab heel with opposite knee ✅ Sweep the foot over, shift weight forward ✅ Drop to elbows and sink into that stretch ✅ Rotate your hips like a mini hula hoop to find that sweet spot Hold for 30-60 seconds, then get back to your workout with less tension.
