Fortunately the second day (March 1st) of attempted Iranian strikes on Qatar has been significantly quieter than the first (in the video). Qatar’s Ministry of Defence said it intercepted 63 of 65 ballistic missiles and 11 of 12 drones on Saturday, and 18 missiles on Sunday. 16 people have been injured since Saturday, with one in a critical condition. His death adds to the growing toll on journalists and media workers in Gaza, where at least 210 journalists and media workers have been killed since October 7, 2023, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ). Among them, at least 10 Al Jazeera journalists have been killed during Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza.
