KOCongratulations @ohwhata.knit on the release of their #superbasictee knitting pattern! I had the pleasure of test knitting for Tatjana, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the final garment. The shape and size is perfect for a, well, super basic tee, and as super basic tees goes, this one is so versatile.
I used 6.5 skeins (~1330m) of Tynd kindly gifted from @woolfolk_yarn — such a lovely, lofty merino. Black yarn might look just like black yarn, but I gasped when I received it!
My bust measures 82cm, and the pattern measurements put me in a “Small”. My final tee has 40cm of positive ease.
Mods: In the sleeves, I did one fewer set of decreases because I have such short arms. For the body, I knit 5 fewer rows than stated in the pattern.

I enjoyed the process of knitting this one so much! It took me quite some months as it was never my main project. But here it is, finally ready and perfect for the weather that we have right now.

A version that is absolutely adorable and can be easily styled up or down ✨
The pattern is unisex. You can easily adjust the length and even make it a dress, as it has a great positive ease 🙌🏽

WOwanna knit a great basics for summer?? 💖
last summer i designed and knitted two t-shirt that, at least to me - are just perfect. baby tee has a more slim fit and shorter cap sleeves, whereas boxy tee has a more boxy fit with straight sleeves. both serve a great purpose in my wardrobe during summer, and to be honest all year round!
i’ve knitted mine in @filcolana merci which is one of my absolute fave summer yarns. it’s made of 50% cotton and 50% butter soft merino which creates the perfect balance between light, soft and yet slightly structured.

+ 울인데, 구김이 잘 가네요. 살짝 까스럽기도 해요.
아주 민감한 스타일이 아니라 적응되니 또 괜찮기도..ㅎㅎ
