BO3 types of strokes to turn your SUP easily 😎💪🏻
All of these paddle strokes are great for flatwater and whitewater as well. But some will be especially handy on the faster river, so you can turn without losing any speed.🚀
Let’s see how to use them…
👉🏻 Sweep stroke
The easiest one. Put the paddle to the nose of the board and then push it away, painting a half circle.
👉🏻 Bow rudder stroke
Great to catch eddies or make faster turns. Put the paddle next to your foot far from the board, blade facing forward. Then push the paddle to the nose of the board.
👉🏻 Cross bow rudder stroke
Same as the bow rudder stroke, just across the board. It will be handy when you need to adjust the direction of the board but don’t have time or don’t want to switch sides.
