زمین در حدود ۴/۵ میلیارد سال پیش شکل گرفت و شواهد نشان میدهد که حیات فزون بر ۳/۷ میلیارد سال پیش پدیدار گشته است. محققان معتقدند حدود ۴ میلیارد سال پیش بلوکهای اولیه حیات توسط دنبالهدارها و یا سیارکها به زمین آمدهاند.⠀⠀

شباهتها میان جاندارانِ امروزی وجود اجدادی مشترک که همهی گونهها در روند فرگشت خود از آنان منشعب شدهاند را نشان میدهد. ⠀⠀

حدود ۹۹ درصد از همه گونههایی که از آغاز پدیدار گشتهاند (حدود پنج میلیارد گونه) امروزه وجود ندارند و منقرض شدهاند. گونههایی که امروزه در زمین وجود دارند حدود ۱۰ تا ۱۴ میلیون برآورد میشود که حدود ۱/۹ میلیون گونه نامگذاری شده اند.⠀

THNeptune is just too beautiful. Neptune's distinctive blue color comes from methane in its atmosphere, which absorbs red light and reflects blue light. While the planet's atmosphere is mostly hydrogen and helium, the presence of methane creates the visible blue hue. Additionally, Rayleigh scattering, which is the same process that makes Earth's sky blue, contributes to Neptune's blue appearance. Not just this, Neptune also has rains of diamonds. Imagine the sound of diamonds falling off the sky. #space

HEhere’s a step-by-step guide to the diamond-shaped repeat method i’ve been using in my patterns, like my recent piece for the #frostyandfestivechallenge - it’s really good if you have trouble envisioning how the repeat will look when you use a more traditional split quarters approach. do you have questions? ask away! as always, this is @procreate on my 12.9” ipad pro 💕
🎁 start with a diamond shape in a square canvas - this is a 5400px square and i used the quadrant symmetry tool to make sure it’s exactly right
🎁 fill the diamond with imagery (tips on this in my previous pattern reel)
🎁 make a flattened copy of your diamond layer and mark the 4 corners (this is ESSENTIAL to getting your repeat to line up because it “activates” the entire canvas so it detects the entire space when cutting it in half
🎁 move each copy to the 4 corners of the canvas, looking for the two orange “center” guides to tell you it’s perfectly aligned (don’t see these? make sure you’ve turned on snapping on the transform menu
🎁 you’ve done the hard part! now erase your diamond/corner marks and check your repeat by copying the canvas and shrinking it to the 4 corners to ensure everything lines up correctly
