CHin the center of many cities, there’s a space that belongs to the people, not the the system. it’s invisible until someone moves freely inside it. that’s when it appears: a temporary autonomous zone (TAZ)
when a TAZ appears, truth appears with it. the truth of how power reacts to freedom. the truth of how quickly control confuses joy for threat. the truth that space IS ALWAYS ours, always waiting ON US to remember to claim it.
when one person moves without permission, the system trembles. it sees itself reflected in what it tried to contain.
and for a moment, everyone watching can feel it: how thin the walls really are. how easily empowerment comes when they are reminded they are already free. la liberté, c’est un acte de présence

CHevery ritual i perform begins as energy; unseen currents moving through the body until they become visible. what looks to some like chaos is actually coherence. what feels like rebellion is a return to truth.
when i “dance” in public space, i am actually creating a field where people remember themselves. the movement invites the invisible to take form. the sound of the city becomes prayer. every glance, every shutter click, every heartbeat joins the vibration.
freedom is not granted. it is remembered and subsequently acted upon. when we step outside the system, even for a moment, we create a portal where new realities can emerge. the dance becomes a Temporary Autonomous Zone, a living mirror that reminds us that the system was never real to begin with.

TEWhat happens when people gather — not to consume, not to compete — but to create their own rhythm outside the systems that shape us?
That’s a Temporary Autonomous Zone.
A living, breathing moment of freedom — where new worlds are imagined and briefly lived.
TAZ can look like:
🌾 A pop-up permaculture camp teaching ancient land skills.
🔥 A warehouse rave where strangers become kin under pulsing lights.
🎨 A collective art build in the desert where no one sells and everything is shared.
🌊 A flotilla of kayaks on a river reclaiming joy and movement.
🌍 A mutual aid gathering where people feed each other with no money exchanged.
💡 A street corner turned into a spontaneous poetry night.
It’s where rules bend and authenticity breathes —
where culture reclaims itself,
and people remember they were always free.
TAZ doesn’t last forever. It’s a glimpse. A rebellion of the heart.
But every time we taste it, we remember:

La Morrígan, déesse guerrière celte, incarne la révolte, la métamorphose et la souveraineté farouche. Son essence ne se laisse pas enfermer : elle est corneille planant au-dessus des batailles, ombre murmurant aux insurgé·es, souffle de chaos dans les failles du pouvoir.
Et si sa présence résonnait avec l’anarchisme ontologique d’Hakim Bey ? Dans son rejet des structures figées, Bey célèbre les TAZ (Temporary Autonomous Zones), ces brèches où l'ordre s'effondre et où de nouveaux possibles surgissent. N'est-ce pas là, en filigrane, la danse de la Morrígan ? Un refus du contrôle, un appel à l’insurrection intérieure, une invitation à créer nos propres zones de liberté, loin des carcans imposés.

SO10 years ago in 2012 we took the leap and purchased our first party tent which would become The Luscious Lounge.
Today we returned to G-Fest, for the third time, and delivered the complete Luscious Lounge!
We loaded up our newly customized cargo trailer with all the necessary goodies and drove down last night, arriving on site just before midnight.
It was very convenient to have our bed ready in the back of the truck for us to crawl in and pass out. We both got a really good night of rest.
This morning, we woke up to tasty brews and gorgeous Mountain Views - as well as incredible birdsong and the freshest air!
We set to it around 9am. By 12:45pm, with only the two of us working, we had the whole Lounge ready to go!
10 years of providing this sweet container for gatherings. It has been so rewarding!
We celebrated our smooth delivery and successful accomplishment with a fantastic lunch at Crave in Mt. Shasta City.
Today was a good day!
