I store vertex position of the mesh in a data texture which we then read in a vertex shader to displace each tri without heavy computation…making it light weight enough to run on mobile and low end devices…the heaviest thing is probably the meshTransmissionMaterial which gives a beautiful effect being able to see the displaced fragments behind the mesh 😍😍😍 .
