CAThrifting is like dating/romance - even though it looks good on paper, and all the boxes are checked, doesn’t mean it’s the right one for you. You can FEEEEL IT. I’ve tried my whole life to be a leather jacket girl but it’s just not me 😔 No matter what cut, vintage, new, reworked, it doesn’t matter, leather jackets aren’t my soulmate and I need to be okay with that!! So I left it. I left this gorgeous vintage Versace soft genuine leather jacket to the next person so that it could be found by the perfect match. Don’t gate keep or hoard your thrift finds if it’s not meant for you!!

So, I found this little Christmas candle lamp while thrifting.. Okay it was cute but not my colors!
So I gave it a quick flip with some paint, my favorite paint pens and now it fits my kitchen perfectly while still keeping that cozy Christmas glow.
I love mixing holiday finds with my everyday style, it just makes the season feel so much more “home.” Ya know?

JOI might have just discovered a thrift store that I love more than Goodwill. Gasp! I have been Goodwill’s number one fan for many years, always staying loyal to Goodwill.
However, a friend recently told me about this thrift store and all of the amazing treasures that she has found here. Ihave been wanting to check it out and finally had the time to go and it blew me away. The store is massive and I definitely did not allot enough time to this adventure.
I have shared a lot of different thrift stores during my time on this page, but I always try to be practice safety when sharing locations, since once a thrift store makes it onto my favorites list, I end up frequenting it a lot.
What do you guys think when it comes to gate keeping versus publicly your favorite spots? Should other people have to put in the work and research and find stores themselves? Or am I obligated to share the store location since I posted content about it?
Edit: I have gotten a lot of DMs asking me about the name of this thrift store. Some of them are getting lost in hidden folders (still not sure how those work).
