Weekly reset after being sick 🤧 I’ve been under the weather, and I am slowly easing back into work, getting organised and regaining my momentum. Super grateful to be working from home, but I also know how tough it is to stay on top of work and your tasks when you’re not feeling well. 

I wanted to share some actionable tips to help you and me stay productive, while giving your body the rest that it needs: 1️⃣ Prioritise and only do the essential tasks: focus on what’s important, and get that done first. Ask yourself: What absolutely needs to get done today? Let the non-urgent tasks wait. 2️⃣ Use timed work intervals: try working in short bursts, like 30 minutes of focus work, followed by 10-15 minutes of rest. 3️⃣ Batch your work: or you can try to get all of the important work done in a few hours, so that you can spend the rest of the time allowing yourself to rest. 4️⃣ Delegate or postpone: what is not that urgent or important. It’s ok to slow down when you’re not feeling well. Since I’m still recovering, my weekly reset is all about getting a clear overview of what needs my attention. The rest can wait. I’ll be incorporating speed work into my program every Wednesday in prep for a Half Marathon relay with @maximusmears in a few weeks time.
