This is not an ad - just a tool that I use in my practice daily that has benefitted so many of my children. Theratogs are a great adjunct to my therapy and to many of my patients’ home exercise programs. I provide in person and virtual training to parents all over the world about how to properly donn Theratogs to best help their children. Once you get a little bit of practice with the togs it takes less than 5 minutes to put them on and your child can wear them all day long for continuous benefits!
Theratogs are such a great tool to help obtain and maintain alignment, provide proprioceptive input for better feedback to the brain and muscles and allow for muscular strengthening.

LE@lookingafterlucy is back again! This intensive we are working hard on gaining more extension in a segmental way. Many kids might use bursts of extension as an all or nothing response versus being able to isolate specific areas of extension such as bringing her upper back up without using hamstrings. Teaching the body what muscles to turn on within a sequence of movement is very important to change movement quality and control. LA| The Shot I Missed…and the One I’ll Get Next Time |
If you’re a performance photographer, you already know the feeling:
You see the moment forming, perfect light, perfect angle, perfect emotion, and then bam…you miss it. Maybe a flag flew up at the exact wrong second. Maybe someone stepped in front of you. Maybe you blinked. Maybe your camera just said “nah.”
And I’ll be honest:
Do I curse under my breath when it happens?
Yes. Absolutely. Loudly in my head.
But here’s the part we don’t talk about enough: that frustration? That tiny, soul-crushing, gut-twisting moment of NOOOO? It’s also fuel. Every missed shot teaches us something—timing, angles, anticipation, patience, or simply that we’re human and action moves faster than we do. (Oh and flags can be a b*tch 😉)
We miss. A lot.
But we also chase. A lot.
And that’s what makes us better.
To all my performance photographer friends:
You’re not alone in the “I swear that would’ve been my best shot” spiral. We’ve all been there. We’ve all felt the sting of the one that got away. But we’ve also felt the rush of nailing the next one. The moment where everything aligns and you remember exactly why you do this.
