Alchemist is worked top-down with seamless shaping, designed to slope gently across the shoulders and flow right into the body with clean, continuous lines. It’s stockinette all the way, making it a great choice if you’re new to garment knitting or just want something meditative on the needles.
You’ll start at the back neck, knit the shoulders and front all in one piece, then work the body and sleeves in the round. The fit is relaxed and flattering, with smart shaping that gives it a polished feel.
Choose a size with 4–8” (10–20 cm) of positive ease for a comfortable, slightly loose fit.
To figure out which size to knit, measure your full bust and add a little extra depending on how you like your sweaters to fit. For example, if your bust measures 40”, the 48” size will give you 8” of ease.

I’m so happy and proud of how this design turned out — both the sweater and the pattern 💪🏼.
It’s knitted top down with two strands of unspun yarn (Plötulopi), which makes it such a fun and authentic experience to knit. The result is warm and durable ❄️

Si sente la morbidezza dell'alpaca nel filato nocciola (lana bollait: 80% lana bianca Trentina e 20% alpaca marrone).
Che ne pensate dell'abbinamento con il bordeaux fitolacca?
Questo maglioncino é per me, sarà un'occasione per testare la tenuta del colore.
Per lungo tempo la fitolacca é stata evitata dai tintori per la sua fama di pigmento poco stabile, ma sembra che con mordente acido e lunga permanenza nel bagno colore non sia poi cosí vero. Certamente si deve prestare piú cura ad un indumento tinto con le piante, in questo caso in particolare bisogna evitare di lasciarlo esposto per tempi prolungati alla luce solare.
Ciò non vuol dire che si puó indossarlo solo con il brutto tempo😅, ma basta avere l'accortezza di riporlo in un cassetto al buoio una volta tolto!
Questo modello di @boylandknitworks ci é piaciuto molto e ne abbiamo già in serbo un'altra versione con colori piú caldi! Stay tuned!
