One of the main side effects of being on a GLP-1 is the quieting of food noise. Well, that’s not really a side effect, but a benefit of you ask me! GLP-1 medications work by acting on the brain regions that regulate appetite and reward processing, leading to a reduction in neural responses to food cues and diminishes mental preoccupation with eating. Ivy students are NOT geniuses!!! Most people, have fallen for the marketing that Ivy League schools try so hard to promote - that their admissions are a meritocracy and that the kids who get in are super special geniuses who will run the whole world - but this is not the case. People get into Ivy League schools for a ton of reasons. Some are recruited athletes, some are the children of donors and professors, and most are just Bright student students who got the right advice early on and knew how to work the system to get the admissions outcome that they wanted. Only maybe 20% of an Ivy League class is actually world class geniuses in the area they are studying. I don’t bring this up to be negative about those students, I mentioning it because it’s worth it to demystify this process for everyone else. It’s not magical, it’s mechanical. If you follow the right advice, a lot of of the things that I’ve described on my channel and in my book, you can game the system, just like most of the students at Ivy League colleges. The don’t have some kind of super special magic that got them in. They just got the right advice early and followed it.
