We just released a Southeast Asian Softshell Turtle — a unique freshwater species known for its flat, leathery shell and snorkel-like nose! 🐢🌿 Softshell turtles are strong swimmers and spend most of their time in the rivers. Sadly, their populations are declining due to habitat loss and overharvesting of their meat. We received the turtle from a local restaurant owner.
