TUEveryone knows Tutu... and everyone knows how deeply I love her. I love all cats, truly but my love for Tutu is something else. It’s the kind of bond that’s hard to explain... she’s been attached to me since she was just a tiny soul.
She doesn’t leave my side when I sleep, she sleeps. When I sit by the TV, she curls up beside me. On the computer? She’s right there. Even in the bathroom, she cries to come in. And if I close the bedroom door, she stands there pawing at the handle, telling me, Don’t lock me out. I belong next to you.
And maybe that’s why I love her so much. Because her love for me is pure, constant, and unconditional. It’s not just that she follows me everywhere it’s that she feels like a part of me. She’s not just my cat. She’s my little girl.
Even when I leave the house, she rushes to the window, meowing loudly, as if to say, Come back soon, Baba.
