TH🔥Getting into UGA just got a little harder!
Stats just dropped for the Class of 2030, and UGA saw a 8.3% increase in total applications this year, resulting in a ~29.8% acceptance rate, compared to 32.9% for the Class of 2029. The most notable difference is with the SAT/ACT averages!
⚡️Decisions will drop today - March 6 at 4pm ET.
The incoming class: 80% in-state and 20% out-of-state students.
UGA utilizes a waitlist, which they expect to use to admit students for both fall and spring.
Keep in mind that the admit rate for OOS, while not shared, will always be lower - because they maintain an 80/20 balance.

🌟 UGA offers two application deadlines:
Early Action - October 15, decisions by Dec 1
Regular Decision - January 1, decisions mid-March
Students applying October 15 must be done taking SAT/ACT exams.
🎯 The academic review of first-year applications centers on several criteria: GPA in core academic courses, the rigor of courses, and the best combination of scores on the SAT/ACT.
‼️It’s also important to note UGA does not have different admission standards for different majors or EA vs RD!
