The illegal invasion at the southern border will have a direct impact on you. Those of us in Kootenai County have been asking, what have we done to prepare? We know that those who are crossing our borders are coming in by the droves every single day. I spent about 14 hours traversing up and down sections of our US border between Arizona and Mexico with our experienced guide @cade.r.lamb. We spoke with Border Patrol, construction Security, NGO staffers, and community members in these border towns. The atrocities are unforgivable…from gaping holes in the border wall clearly intentionally cut open from the US side, to border patrol who cannot do their job, to a constant stream of illegals coming in by the hour. These are male, military aged men from parts of the world who do not share the values that we do. They are not here with good intentions. We have footage that tells a larger story that we will be sharing with you in the days to come and at a live event at the end of this month. I have a plan for the protection of Kootenai County, a plan that should have been in place years ago by our current sheriff and he has failed at doing that job. I’m not here to ask you what your concerns are or if this matters to you. As your Sheriff I’m here to tell you that this is of grave concern.
